Phoenix Medical Recruitment Ltd was formed in 2000 as a specialist recruitment, search and selection agency dealing primarily with sales positions within the pharmaceutical industry. Based in South Wales, Phoenix has established itself placing candidates with many of the major Pharmaceutical Companies in the U.K. and now on a broader level into more general sales industries.
Many of our candidates come to us because of personal referrals and several of our clients are also ex-colleagues from within the industry. It is this personal and intimate knowledge of the industry that enables us to match the right people to the right companies time and time again.
While growth is important, Phoenix are not striving to become the biggest recruitment agency within the Pharmaceutical industry but to be an organization where clients and candidates interests are paramount, an organization that delivers quality candidates to preferred clients, and an organization where promises are delivered.
Phoenix are continually expanding their sphere of activity utilizing `Pharmatalentpool` and `Emedcareers` as industry specific internet search engines as well as broader recruitment sites such as Totaljobs, Monster and Hotonline in line with their current diversification, which they combine with selective press advertising to compliment their core activity of search and selection which has resulted in the development of a database of nearly 6000 candidates ranging from graduate trainee to board level.
This thorough approach has resulted in continued success and growth encompassing a varied range of client demands. Not only has this led to success in recruiting in the Pharmaceutical industry but also into sourcing representatives in other industries including Coca-Cola in the FMCG marketplace.
Key Personnel
Richard Cook -Director began his career in London with Capital Equipment in sales and sales management roles and, after 11 successful years, joined the Pharma Industry 10 years ago to become an established GP and hospital representative in South Wales. Richard has recently taken over the company from Paul Chard and is currently engaged in consolidating and expanding on the first five successful years of Phoenix. This entails broadening the co-operation with other like minded agencies and organisations to provide a bespoke package of flexible solutions geared to addressing the diverse requirements of an ever changing pharmaceutical industry. In addition to this concise and targeted advertising will ensure a steady flow of both trainee and experienced candidates and this coupled with Richards, excellent industry contacts forged over the last four years in the recruitment directors `hot seat` will ensure a quality service.
Joanne Elliot - hailing originally from a teaching background Joanne `cut her teeth` working for another pharmaceutical recruitment agency for two years before moving up to the role of dedicated Ashfield consultant at Phoenix over three years ago. More recently in addition to this important role Joanne has taken over as recruitment director whose main responsibility is to ensure an experienced and relevant database, full of quality candidates.
Additionally there is dedicated support staff for IT, Advertising and Administration to ensure a professional service at all times.
